Pros: Easy to use, versatile though limited. Permits preview while decoding/coding. Allow deselection of unnecessary files e.g. foreign subtitles. Allows selection of shrinkage size.
Cons: Sometimes has problems with protected code. I used to use it in conjunction with DVDdecript. Best not to shrink below 60 percent.
